Originally from Indiana, Theresa began her dance career at the age of 4 at Southold Dance Theater. During her time there, she focused on ballet as well as jazz and contemporary, studying under Erica Fishbach (ABT) and Calin Radulescu. She competed in the prestigious ballet competition, Youth America Grand Prix and placed top twelve on multiple occasions, eventually earning first place in her contemporary solo. In addition to this training, she studied ballroom and latin dancing as well as tap, hip hop, and musical theater dance.

In her college career, Theresa taught multiple levels of dance at Southold Dance Theater and Footprints Dance Studio, instructing students in upcoming performances and competitions. Additionally, Theresa worked in the Musical Theater Department at the University of Notre Dame as their choreographer, choreographing four, full-length musicals including the iconic A Chorus Line. Post-graduation, Theresa taught as an Adjunct Professor of Musical Theater at the University, teaching a three credit course titled, Musical Theater Dance. Theresa is so thrilled to bring her love of dance to the DOB family and inspire future dancers to explore their creativity and artistry.
