THE LIFE OF A DANCER

Recital 2026 Theme (1920 x 1080 px).png

We are so excited to celebrate an incredible season at our 2026 Recital! This special event is a chance for our dancers to shine on stage, showcase their growth, and create unforgettable memories with their teammates, teachers, and families.

This page is your go-to resource for all recital details. Here, you’ll find important information including show dates and times, venue details, costume guidelines, ticketing, rehearsal schedules, arrival times, and performance expectations. We will continue to update this page as we get closer to recital, so please check back regularly to stay informed.

Our goal is to make recital a smooth, organized, and joyful experience for both dancers and families. If you have any questions along the way, don’t hesitate to reach out—we’re here to help every step of the process.

We can’t wait to see our dancers take the stage and celebrate all of their hard work. Recital 2026 is going to be unforgettable

recital tickets

Extra tickets are officially on sale now and are expected to go quickly!

From April 29–May 6, families may purchase up to 4 tickets per dancer. After May 6, any remaining tickets will be released with no limit. All tickets are first-come, first-served, and once a show sells out, no additional tickets will be released—no exceptions.

Tickets are $30. Children under 3 sitting on a lap do not need a ticket; any child in their own seat must have a ticket.

Competition Team Families:
Please purchase tickets for one show (Show C if possible). You may request up to 2 complimentary tickets for additional shows by emailing abby@danceonbroadwaychi.com after your initial purchase. Complimentary tickets may be limited view or standing room only.

Multiple Show Families:
If your dancer is in multiple shows or you have siblings in different shows, please email for assistance with ticketing.

PICTURE DAY

Recital Photo Day is one of our favorite traditions and a special way to capture your dancer’s hard work and costumes from the season. Sign-ups are now open—please use the provided link to reserve your dancer’s studio session.

A $15 deposit is required at the time of booking to hold your spot and will be applied toward your purchase of digital downloads or prints. If your dancer has multiple costumes, please book one session per costume to allow time for changes. Sibling or friend photos will also require an additional session.

Please note that deposits are non-refundable for cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance.

For any questions, please contact Kirsten directly at Kirsten@KirstenStickneyPhotography.com, as emails sent to the studio will not be received by the photographer.
