michelle haskell

Michelle Haskell, is a triple threat and choreographer proudly from Cincinnati, Ohio. She received a BFA in Dance and Choreography from Virginia Commonwealth University. Haskell has worked with companies such as Pones Inc., Aerial Dance Chicago’s LaunchPAD, and Chicago Tap Theatre. She has explored many movement genres with artists such as David Neumann, Nik Graves, Robin Davis, Mariah Eastman, Molly Smith, Sterling Harris, Mark Yonally, Glenda Figueiredo, and Brianna Kell. This past summer, Michelle created her own contemporary and tap show, Empty Are My Hands, presented at the Dance Center for Columbia College. Last year, Haskell presented new works Meet Betsy and Gertie, along with i said goodbye, or was it hello? She has taught ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop and contemporary for the past 9 years, and is wholeheartedly inspired by her students, her friends and her family who have supported her this far! She is excited to return to the DOB family for her fifth season and continue to help the dancers grow and flourish!
