Emily rice
Emily was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida where she received her early dance training, under Suzanne Saltmarsh at Saltmarsh Dance of Jacksonville. She spent her formative years of dance competing in Youth American Grand Prix ballet competitions, as well as performing around the Jacksonville area. Emily spent her high school years at Nutmeg Conservatory in Connecticut, training in the Vaganova ballet technique. From Nutmeg, Emily joined Ballet Chicago’s studio company where she trained and performed under the instruction of Daniel Duell, Patricia Blair, and Ted Seymour. She has spent her summers training at Joffrey Chicago, Alonzo King Lines Ballet in San Francisco, The Royal Danish Ballet, and the Estonian National Ballet. Emily has taught dance to a wide range of ages as a guest teacher at Saltmarsh Dance of Jacksonville. She is excited to be a part of the Dance on Broadway family and share her joy for dancing!
