COVID-19 Safety

DANCE ON BROADWAY has reduced its program hours and participant maximum to ensure that the building can be properly cleaned throughout the day and thoroughly every night.

These procedures are prepared by Dance On Broadway in accordance with CDC guidance, as well as State and Local requirements. This document details the studio’s health and safety protocols designed to minimize the potential for exposure and spread of COVID-19 during fall programming. 

Arrival PROCEDURES

  •  Only students will be allowed access to the building. NO parents will be allowed in. 

  • The doors will remain locked during operating hours. 

  • Students will be buzzed in. 

  • Please observe 6ft/2m social distancing while in line outside. 

  • Check-In Screening will take place upon entry into the building. Dancers must arrive wearing a mask. 

  • Dancers will complete a wellness questionnaire which includes a Thermoscan temperature reading. 

  • All teachers will be checked daily as they enter the studio as well. 

  • Dancers must arrive with dance clothes underneath street clothes, own equipment (mask, water bottle, dance shoes, etc.). 

  • Dancers will be guided by staff to their assigned studio and assigned a spot at the barre. 

  • Please arrive 10 minutes prior to class time for Check-In Screening. 

  • Late arrivals (more than 10 minutes) will not be admitted, no exceptions.

physical Distancing

  • 6ft/2m physical distancing will be maintained throughout the building, including hallways, studios and restrooms. Please limit restroom use to 2 persons at a time. 

  • Wearing a mask is mandatory at all times in public access spaces of the building and the studios. 

  • Occupancy of public spaces are limited to the gathering of no more than 10 persons while still maintaining physical distance protocols. 

  • Occupancy limits will be posted on the door of each studio.

Practice Good Hygiene

  • Hand-sanitizing stations are located upon entry to the building and in every studio. 

  • Water bottle refilling stations will remain in use. Refrain from using water fountain/drinking spouts. Please observe 6ft/2m social distancing. 

  • Wash early, wash often. Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or use the hand sanitizer provided. 

When to Wash Hands

  • Before and after class 

  • After blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing 

  • Before and after using the restroom 

  • Before and after eating lunch 

  • After putting on, touching, or removing cloth face covering.
